Be able to rate games
a 5 star rating score can given to any game I have played
2026 Update: Ratings and reviews will likely be split into two phases, private and public. Public reviews are subject to content moderation which we don't have the capacity to support right now. However, private ratings and reviews are much more doable.
The latest March 2026 Caldera Update added playthrough tracking, which provides a nice integration point for rating a game when you log a completion. Some integration work needs to be finished first to bring the HLTB/timing metadata to the rest of the app. Once that's done, it will be easier to integrate ratings into playthroughs, completions, and lists.
In the meantime, to build your own rating system, you can make emoji-based tags (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) and use those, or create a ranking system based on tags (S, A, B, C, D, etc.). Notes can be used for private reviews but long notes can be annoying on lists and that specifically will be worked on in the next update. List "descriptions" can be used for public reviews and can be shared/visible to people viewing your list by changing your List Privacy settings.

I totally get what "Anonymous" means. Grouvee has a 5-Star Rating System. The aggregate rating proves little use because most games fall between 3.0 and 4.0.
The Like Vs. Dislike System forces people to make the binary extreme choice whilst the 5-Star Rating System sees people try to be objective and rate 3-Star and 4-Star the most.
Personally, I object to the implementation of Ratings at KTOMG. This site is sleek and simplistic. Just focus on Backlog Combat, will you guys?
If Ratings are to come, may I suggest using the Like vs. Dislike System? There is no point in following Grouvee's footsteps.

One thing I really hate about similar sites is that the aggregate rating for the site is displayed next to your own rating in the lists. I don't care about that and don't want to see it, I think it takes away from good games that a couple people might have reviewed badly, you know what I mean?
Let ratings stay specific to the users' lists, not an aggregate or site-wide thing.

Yes, lists will have re-ordering (technically they do now but it's not exposed) so you could create a Top X list eventually.

It might be cool to stack-rank games--that way, every user could have their own "all-time top ten list".
