I like this idea a lot, not sure on the naming but I think consolidating Completed/Mastered might make sense. Personally 100% to me is the percentage report from the game, not necessarily every difficulty level or anything—that would be Mastered if I 100%‘d multiple levels or New Game+ etc. But that’s why the current setup is confusing, I think.

    Dear Kamran,

Hello there, site master. I hope you’re having a nice day.

This is just to inquire about the lists. To recap, I expressed objection to some sub-lists of PLAYED - COMPLETED & MASTERED, which are better off united into DOMINATED.

Too many sub-lists of PLAYED showed down the battle against the BACKLOG. Visual ques: COMPLETED & MASTERED ask for grinding. Star Wars Battlefront II’s gambling fiasco (a.k.a. Loot Boxes) is a prime example. Today’s games are not designed to be pushovers.

Can we expect an overhaul of Lists next year?

    Best regards,

    LI HIMSON

Yes, I'm supportive of consolidating "Completed" Status and "Mastered" Status into one - either it's "Dominated" Status or something else to mark the next level of completion over "Beaten".

Alternatively, it makes a lot of sense to introduce "Retired" Status to mark the games that have served their entertainment purpose having being beaten.

Grateful for your feedback, as always.

I've a "Dominated" description idea: Games I've beaten and played to my heart's content.

Actually, I'm more inclined to the description than either "Completed", "Mastered" or "Dominated" terms. The point is to differentiate freshly beaten games from those you'd satisfied your appetite with.

In contrast, "Completed" and "Mastered" statuses are detrimental to backlog combat. OCD users might find it necessary to grind a game just so it can one day earn such statuses.

To wrap things up, whenever a gamer feels closure for a game, it goes under DOMINATED status.

"Abandoned" is the place for them to go. However, "Abandoned" should be excluded from the "Played" folder.

This has been started as part of an overall capability I'm calling Playthroughs. Checklists may be separated out into a separate feature, but notes, percentage % tracking, completion/goal tracking, and play sessions will be part of the next major site release.

I totally get what "Anonymous" means. Grouvee has a 5-Star Rating System. The aggregate rating proves little use because most games fall between 3.0 and 4.0.

The Like Vs. Dislike System forces people to make the binary extreme choice whilst the 5-Star Rating System sees people try to be objective and rate 3-Star and 4-Star the most.

Personally, I object to the implementation of Ratings at KTOMG. This site is sleek and simplistic. Just focus on Backlog Combat, will you guys?

If Ratings are to come, may I suggest using the Like vs. Dislike System? There is no point in following Grouvee's footsteps.

This is 100% on our roadmap. We want to ensure we have a solid core experience managing games before we work on social integration, activity timelines, messaging, etc. Subscribe to this idea for updates on progress towards this goal.

I am not fond of this idea. You can connect to other players via various ways like Steam already. But I guess people just like more to less.

If KTOMG implements this, please let us decide to enable or disable the social interface. The last thing I need is a clutter of statistics that acts as a distraction. I love your current clean interface.
