Progress Tracking and Notes
I think this site could really benefit from allowing users to add progress notes to specific games where users can make note of the last thing that they did in the game or if the site could implement some sort of checklist for each game tailored towards that exact games progress so you have a bigger picture of how you're getting along in your games rather than only knowing if it's something you're currently playing.
115 votesThe majority of this idea is now live and shipped as part of the March 2026 Caldera Update!
There are some aspects not yet implemented like displaying HLTB data across the app, automatic playtime syncing, and checklists. I will be splitting those into separate ideas you can vote on.

Steam games list - great source of game titles to start people's collections off.
Consider importing a Steam platform games list - this is publicly visible at http://steamcommunity.com/id/USERNAMEGOESHERE/games?tab=all

New "Abandoned"/"Not finished" status
I would like to be able to distinguish between two categories of Played games, the Finished ones (currently Played games) and a new category of "Abandoned" games(played but never finished). Maybe another word would be better, but that's the concept.
47 votesCompleted, Mastered, Abandoned, and Paused status have been added as of the December 2016 update.

Bulk Import Games (CSV)
It would be cool to export the lists, and even use it as template to import new games to the lists.
Also give us participating users more votes! I have only 3 left after posting some suggestions!
Thanks!
43 votesYou can now bulk import games from CSV, Excel, Google sheets, flat files, or even copy/pasting manually from anywhere using the Bulk Import Powerup. It is currently in Early Access for patrons but will be released for everyone in the next major site update.

I want to be able to track DLC
I want to be able to track DLC for a game, like Destiny. DLC has release dates so I should be able to get notified about that.
24 votesDLC, expansions, etc. are now available in IGDB and are treated like any other game where you can follow and get release updates. More work needs to be done to display them better on the site, but that will come later.

Including remastered/remaked games
I just researched Dark Souls 1 and Shadow of the Colossus (both remastered / remake versions) and did not find it, found only the initial version
18 votesWith IGDB integration now, Remastered, Remakes, etc. are all supported as standalone game entries. However, there is still work to be done to make it clearer what’s a “version” vs. a “main game.”

Notes for games on a list
Once lists go public, I want to be able to provide a comment about why I put a game on a list. I may also just want to put notes for a game for my own benefit (where I got it, etc)
14 votesYou can now add private notes or public descriptions of games in a list.
-
Exporting Library to CSV/Excel
Allows user to extract data into an Excel to perform additional analysis (i.e. pivoting of data, graphs etc.)
13 votesAs of August 2022, you can now export your entire library and lists as a CSV package to back it up or do whatever you want!

More Status Selection (e.g. level of completion, level of desire, etc)
These status are crucial for us when deciding what to play next.
Now you got 6 status: playing, played, want to play, favourite, wishlist (+ tags + lists)
Bxxkloggery.com got 8
Darkadia.xxm got 8 (+tags)
Grouvee.cxx got 4 (+ lists)Please consider which are essential and which are not mutually exclusive, (e.g. darkadia.xxm can check all 8 status)
mainly, your those mentioned sites added 2 more levels of completion
personally, I want the want to play (backlog) to have a priority (simple: high, mid, low priority selections in the "want to play" status; advanced but not necessary: 5star, 10points scale…
12 votesAs of the December 2016 update, we now have more statuses to choose from. Progress and completion features will be addressed separately from status selection.
-
Add a "Never Ending" or "Continuously Playing" Status
As it reads, add another status for "I finished this, but I play it" for things like Dota 2, fighting games, etc.
11 votesYou can now use the “Active” or “Paused” statuses to denote games you have been playing or play infrequently. Games that you have beat, completed, or mastered can be set separately now.

Wishlist games aren't added to your games
Right now if you add a game to your wishlist it will also be added to your library, and given a "wish to play" status. The status can be removed, but you can't remove the game from your library without also removing it from your wishlist. This means that if you wishlist a lot of games and look at your stats all your numbers will be off. It would be good if there was a way to keep wishlisted games entirely separate to solve that problem.
10 votesI’m marking this as Completed because it no longer defaults to being Want to Play when adding to Wishlist, it defaults to Undecided.

Quickly change status from search results
You can add a new game from search results with a popup panel but not change status if the game is already in one of your lists. It should tell you which list the game is in and clicking on the list should open the same panel instead of navigating away to the game's individual page.
10 votesThis is now completed as part of the updates to the Add Game Dialog in the Pelegiad Update. Thanks for the feedback!

Show similarly-liked games on detail page
When I'm viewing a game, show me other games from people who liked this game so I can discover other games I might like
8 votesThis is now complete and we’ll be tweaking it from now on to provide better similar games.

Request for Alphabetizing or Reorganizing List Names
Hi there,
Can we please have the option to reorganize our List Names in alphabetical order when reviewing individual games? Right now, I'm organizing my games into custom lists, but I can't figure out how to make them appear in an alphabetical order.
For example:
https://i.imgur.com/Mkl69Hv.pngOn the left-hand column of the main profile page, the lists are in alphabetical order, but in the 'My Games' section (as seen in the screenshot), the lists are shown in the order in which they were created. This makes it difficult to keep everything organized efficiently.
It would be great to have the…

Improve Load Speeds, but That's It!
I sent a humble donation last night as a token of thanks.
Coming from Backloggery, Darkadia and Grouvee, I'd say KTOMG doesn't have the fastest load speeds. If you could optimize it a bit, this site will slay.
On the up side, KTOMG's interface looks the cleanest and most modern. DON'T FIX WHAT'S NOT BROKEN. Thank you.
The last thing I need is the inclusion of non-backlog-attack features that definitely only act as distraction and webpage clutter.
6 votesWe just released an update and moved to some new, faster infrastructure. The site is much more responsive now and we’ll continue to improve performance as time goes on.

Playstation import
PlayStation import please!
6 votesAs of the Pelegiad Update, PlayStation import is now available. Watch the video or read the announcement post.

Change view style
The ability to change the viewing style in the My Games list to, for example: List, Thumbnails, Grid, Shelf etc... I currently use Darkadia for my games which has this option, but I'm planning on switching to this site because it kinda feels better, but I would definitely miss this feature.
6 votesThere are now 3 display modes: Compact, Expanded, and Side-by-Side. We may add more in the future but we’ve covered most of the requested views now. These are also supported when viewing other people’s lists.

Add Emulator option to platform list
It would be useful to see if a game is owned on the original platform or an emulator.
5 votesThis will be available in the June release. Thanks for the idea!

Separate owned and games not owned
Under the My Games tab, I expect to find the games I own, but it shows everything. I know I can create a separate list specifically for only games I own, but I try to keep as few lists as possible, because every extra list is more I need to keep up with every time I change something, it ends up becoming tedious.
So what I would like to see is every game I own defaulted into the My Games or Games Owned tab, and everything else default into some other tab.
Alternatively, when we create a list, more advanced…
5 votesThe May update allows you to filter and view ownership within lists now. You would filter by all your My Platforms to only see games you owned. Or you can filter by (not set) to see what games you need to set ownership for. We may add a Match None so you can select “(not set)” and then it will filter out games that don’t match that.
