Import playtime (and achievements) from PSN
It would be great if KTOMG could import the actual playtime data from PSN when syncing.
It would be even better to get the achievements as well, although I realise that's a much bigger change...
1 voteThis has been started and will be available in the next update that brings full playthrough and playtime tracking.

Notes should be visible and editable on the game detail page, not the list page
The interface for adding/editing and viewing notes should be in the game detail page, not the list page.
It makes more sense to be able to add and edit notes in the detail page, where all other edits are done.
It doesn't work well having the full text of the note displayed on the list page, as it messes up the display of the list quite badly. It should be optional to hide the notes in the list page, or alternatively the interface could display just a one line of text from the note.
As notes can be usefully quite…
1 voteThanks for the feedback! This is definitely planned as the game details page as it stands now won't exist when I rewrite that area, it will all be much more integrated into the list editing interface. You'll still be able to get to the game details but more will be available inline without leaving the context of your lists/collections. That includes a much better better "full view".

bulk import date autoformat issues
bulk import auto formating seems to think that dd/mm/yyyy dates are actually mm/dd/yyyy dates so it transforms it to the wrong date and fails to transform ones after the 12th

bulk import section clarification/mistitle
The "is played" section adds games to the beaten status even tho played does not mean beaten. This could cause a bit of confusion where peoples backlogs suddenly show they have beaten way more games than in actuality

Add game stores as platforms.
As a mostly pc only gamer it would be nice to be able to differentiate from which game stores majority of my games are instead of having to group them all under the PC platform.
3 votesThanks for the idea, this makes sense. Right now the only way to group them is by using the system tags like #from-steam. You can then use those to create automated lists. But I would like to make this a first-class experience tied to ownership so I'll keep this in mind.

Advanced Timeline
Timeline
I think a timeline would be helpful to see what changes were made and when. For example, you could also display statistics such as “Games completed in month XY”. The timeline is currently only limited to games you have added to KTOMG, but not how much you have managed to remove from your backlog.

Playnite Sync Plugin
Playnite only works on PC and cannot sync to other devices or is accessible on the web. KTOMG is accessible anywhere you have Internet. It would be great to be able to sync my Playnite collection (with all its robust plugins) to KTOMG. This should support syncing my custom metadata/notes/tags, etc.

More robust ownership across services
Basically, I'm looking to have this specific data structure when it comes to ownership of the games:

Add tag while in "not this tag" view
I want to be able to:
- filter by "don't match Tag A"
- select games from current view
- add Tag A to those gamesNot a big deal, just something I noticed that is slightly annoying.

Personal goals
Would be nice to have a personal goals section for lowering backlog count, new games vs beaten games difference (try to beat 2 games for every 1 bought for example), beat/complete/master x amount of games for the year, etc. Could extent to another length of time (in a week, in a month)
5 votesThanks for the feedback! This is planned once playthrough tracking is released. There will be some similar Goodreads-style goal features, like setting your yearly play goal. I would love to go farther and add goals around playtime and maintaining streaks. I want to support saying you want to play less too, not just more, such as dropping games sooner if they aren't fun.

Ignore "The" "A", etc from game titles
Would be helpful for finding titles instead of them all falling into one "group"
1 voteGreat idea, makes sense, I will add this to the roadmap. Thanks!

Option to remove the #from-service tag permanently.
It would be helpful to completely remove this tag, especially for players who are only utilizing one system.
1 voteThis is planned as tags starting with hashtags will be treated as private/hidden tags that won't be shown on summary cards (but can still be managed through dropdowns/select boxes, etc.). Furthermore, service tags like this will likely be replaced with a more formal metadata property soon which won't require the use of tags. Currently they are there to make it easier to create lists per service using the "Auto-include tags" feature.

Private Notes
It would be great if Private Notes added to games would be hidden on default when browsing different lists rather than visible on each game. It makes some lists look incredibly long (especially when you have a lot of games logged in) and makes browsing them a lot longer than required as a consequence.
Implementing a button such as "Expand Private Note" or something similar to view it would be much more desirable in my opinion.

Create new list with selected games
Currently, if you select a bunch of games you own, click the List dropdown menu, then click the Create New List option, you're brought to a new page to create a list without any of the games you had selected being saved or brought over into the new list. I've wasted a ton of time by making specific selections only to have them all deselected because I wanted to put them in a new list.

Difficulty and time information for games
I know this would be quite troublesome to implement but I would love it to have difficulty and time to complete for games, both for games with achievements and without it. There's already a topic asking for HLTB, so that would solve time for majority of games, however difficulty is another story as there's no sure place to get this info from. Also for games with achievements it would be better to just have this as an extra set of information, and similiar to how PlatPrices does I guess. I would love to be able to order my backlog by…

Enable custom fields for user-specified metadata
As a user, I would like to be able to create my own custom numeric fields for games, which would be available for sorting and filtering of my backlog. I would populate the values for these fields myself, similar to setting which platform I have a particular game on.
For instance, I could create the field "playtime," and then manually populate this with the average playtime from HLTB when I add a game to my queue. I could create an additional field called "rating" and manually populate this from whichever rating service I trust the most.
Then, when browsing my…
6 votesThank you for submitting this as an official idea -- this is on the roadmap!
Note that some things you mentioned, specifically play time and rating, will be integrated features so you shouldn't need custom fields. But other fields you might want to track will be supported.
As a workaround, tags are super flexible and can be used in a similar way. For example, you can create tags with emojis for ratings and filter/create lists based on them.

However, tags don't support dynamic values or feed into stats which custom fields would be ideal for.
