Drag and drop games to lists
Since the new site supports lists, I want to be able to just drag games to the lists in the sidebar to quickly add them

Friends, Lists, Following, Ratings
KTOMG is super awesome!
The only thing missing is the ability to let your buddies add you as a 'friend'. If you add a friend, you could let then set permissions on a List to allow friends to collaborate and add games :D
You could then see which friends have played the games in your various lists and or friends lists.
Basically, if we can invite friends to the site, we probably want to follow each other and follow each others lists to some extent (assuming the permissions are set appropriately)Our use case is as follows:
There's a group…7 votesCollaborative lists are partially implemented, just not live yet. Friends are also partially implemented. Both of these features will be released once they’re tested and ready. Thanks for the suggestion!

Group franchises
There should be an option to group franchises together on your games list (and maybe in search too) with a "click to expand button" to see all games in that franchise that you added to your games. Makes your lists more concise until you need more details.
7 votesI thought a grouping mechanism would be out by now but I only did filtering. I’ll revisit this in the future.

Support metacritic / opencritic scores for sorting and filtering
As a user, I want to be able to sort and filter my lists based on critic scores.
7 votesAggregate critic scores are already being ingested behind-the-scenes, but are not yet exposed as fields or in the UI. This is definitely planned and will likely be rolled into the Ratings & Reviews capability.

Enable custom fields for user-specified metadata
As a user, I would like to be able to create my own custom numeric fields for games, which would be available for sorting and filtering of my backlog. I would populate the values for these fields myself, similar to setting which platform I have a particular game on.
For instance, I could create the field "playtime," and then manually populate this with the average playtime from HLTB when I add a game to my queue. I could create an additional field called "rating" and manually populate this from whichever rating service I trust the most.
Then, when browsing my…

Note that some things you mentioned, specifically play time and rating, will be integrated features so you shouldn't need custom fields. But other fields you might want to track will be supported.
As a workaround, tags are super flexible and can be used in a similar way. For example, you can create tags with emojis for ratings and filter/create lists based on them.

However, tags don't support dynamic values or feed into stats which custom fields would be ideal for.

"Quick Add" a game from Explore page and from Autocomplete Search Box
In short, I think we need a "Quick Add" option from wherever I see the game name and its thumbnail
UI looks cool, sorting and filtering functions are comprehensive. We now need better explore page (which you said you have planned), social features (as well), faster and easier adding, and more comprehensive metadata selection
6 votesWhen I redo the Explore/Discover portion of the site this will be added so for now I’m resetting this back to Planned.

Seperatly marking games on differrent systems
I have the same game on two different systems and would like to mark them separately. One is already beaten and the other one is active. Right now I can't do that.
6 votesThis will be part of Playthrough Tracking which is currently in progress. A "playthrough" and the game its associated with will be separate which means that you could create multiple playthroughs for different platforms, or even switch platforms for the same playthrough.
Eventually, "active" and "completed" statuses will be dynamically based on playthroughs and progress tracking and act more like "tags" rather than separate lists.
I think this should provide a lot more flexibility to accomplish this.

Personal goals
Would be nice to have a personal goals section for lowering backlog count, new games vs beaten games difference (try to beat 2 games for every 1 bought for example), beat/complete/master x amount of games for the year, etc. Could extent to another length of time (in a week, in a month)
6 votesThanks for the feedback! This is planned once playthrough tracking is released. There will be some similar Goodreads-style goal features, like setting your yearly play goal. I would love to go farther and add goals around playtime and maintaining streaks. I want to support saying you want to play less too, not just more, such as dropping games sooner if they aren't fun.

Automatic wishlist importing with powerups
I currently have 829 games on my steam wishlist, getting that imported automatically via powerups would be glorious.

Search match on partial words
Search doesn't match if part of a word is typed, blocking even results for the other words
For example:
"Days Gone Remaster" has no results
"Days Gone Remastered" returns the expected results and so does just "Days Gone"

Set a priority for a wishlist game
I have many games I don't own yet but am planning to get at some point. It would be nice to set different priorities for games you don't own yet.

Link to Amazon or other store pages
It would be phenomenal to have something off to the side with links to stores like Amazon, Best Buy, eBay, etc. much the same way Blu-Ray.com does on their individual title pages.
Maybe even with a list of stores showing current prices,

RSS support
I was wondering if it would be possible to add RSS support for the release date of games. I would like to keep track of this through my feed reader. Some helpful features in addition to that would be being able to set the date of reminder to something other than the actually release date such as 3 days before or 2 days after. Just a thought.

Add platform to "releasing soon"
There are a few games that are time exclusive. If I know that a game I want will be released later on PC, I want to know that the date showed in the page is only for PS4, for example.
4 votesThis is planned along with tracking individual platform releases.

Because status “lists” are treated specially (in the code and UI), this would be a major change. In the meantime, we have added many new statuses since this idea was submitted. We will still see if it will be possible to allow users to mark lists as “status” lists.

Playnite Sync Plugin
Playnite only works on PC and cannot sync to other devices or is accessible on the web. KTOMG is accessible anywhere you have Internet. It would be great to be able to sync my Playnite collection (with all its robust plugins) to KTOMG. This should support syncing my custom metadata/notes/tags, etc.

Option to add our own games on our list
I couldn't find some titles that are really old. The option of adding a game to your list (no the overall catalog) would be great!
4 votesWe don’t have plans to add custom games quite yet since people can add them to Giantbomb. As long as they are real games, this is the best way to get them to show up on KTOMG. However, we will consider this in the future.

Add game stores as platforms.
As a mostly pc only gamer it would be nice to be able to differentiate from which game stores majority of my games are instead of having to group them all under the PC platform.
4 votesThanks for the idea, this makes sense. Right now the only way to group them is by using the system tags like #from-steam. You can then use those to create automated lists. But I would like to make this a first-class experience tied to ownership so I'll keep this in mind.

Quick update game status by clicking on the status icon in your game list
Like how you can click "add note" under an owned game to quickly add a note, let us click the Status icon to show a dropdown where we can quickly change the status.
